Three major mobile operating systems namely android, windows phone ,IOS are about to launch their new breed of updates i.e. jelly bean from android and iOS 6 by apple are creating a lot of buzz amongst the Smartphone users. These updates are here for coming one or two years so a lot is expected from them.  As sales of Smartphone these days depends mainly on the operating system so a lot is on stake. iOS 6 is considered to be the best update till now from the apple and androids jelly bean is considered to be the best update rolling out from goggle so it is certain that they are going to be compared against each other, and windows phone 8 which has lot to cover in the Smartphone era.

The iOS update is sure to bring a lot of cosmetic changes to the current user interface as in the official press release they mentioned that iOS 6 has  a new user interface and with the jelly bean Google is aiming to improve its current user interface making it smoother and windows phone will continue its metro user interface.

Till now it has not been confirmed by the apple which device is going to be the flag bearer of the new operating system but there are rumours that iPhone 5 will be launched on the iOS 6 and other devices on the apple line-up will receive update after the launch. Jelly bean is launched on the nexus 7 tablet which is the first tablet from the search giant. Nexus 7 is 7 inch tablet with quad core processor made by asustek is already receiving a lot of attention due the offerings like quad core, jelly bean etc at a very attractive price, Other manufacturers of the android powered devices will provide update to jelly bean in the coming months, whereas windows phone 8 will supported by most of the windows phone 7.5devices.

Apple will improve its current app store iTunes and amongst various improvements the most talked about revision will be Siri. In this update of the iOS Siri is going to have far more capabilities compared to its previous versions it is going to be far more interactive and responsive. You will be able take directions from Siri while driving, book reservations etc.

In this update of android, user’s will have “Google now” that is goggles answer to apples’ Siri and Google play the app store. Google play is improved quite a bit now Google offers movies, shows, apps, books etc. both free and paid apps are available in the Google play. Jelly bean has a improved user interface as Google started project butter to improve the consistency and speed of the operating system and the results are pleasing. As both the app stores are getting attention of the developers as a result there is a huge increase in number of new apps. Windows app market has a lot to catch when it comes to quantity and quality of the apps as compared to android and apple apps.
